For almost 20 years, Another Rainbow Publishing devoted itself to producing high-quality lithographs based on the extraordinary oil paintings of Carl Barks. In the beginning, each lithograph release was preceded by a mailing to a small number of devoted Barks fans - which included a color flyer or small reproduction of the lithograph image and a letter from the publisher, Bruce Hamilton. As the company grew (and Gladstone Publishing was formed), the flyers were replaced by small but somewhat costly catalogs - which not only devoted pages of text and stunning, glossy images of the latest lithograph, but also to other products such as the Carl Barks Library, the Little Lulu Library, Mickey Mouse in Color, the Carl Barks Figurines, an entire line of Gladstone's comics and comic albums, and innumerable other collectibles. A few of the catalogs (especially those featuring a Barks bone china Figurine) were absolutely stunning - with extremely high-quality images and fold-outs. (see images above for an example).

Over the years, a number of collectors would ask for an extra catalog - one that they would keep in pristine condition - as a collectible itself. If we had a number of extras, we would usually comply with their requests. However, as time went on, the number of spare catalogs dwindled and we decided to keep a few on hand ourselves. If collectors wanted them upon release......maybe they would be even more 'collectible' in the future.

Now, for the first time, we are offering uncirculated original Another Rainbow/Gladstone catalogs - limited though they are in quantity. Although they are collectible in and of themselves (and the glossy images are beautiful), for those lucky enough to own a Barks lithograph - they can be a valuable companion piece to the print - one that clearly shows the original selling price, date of release and other details.

Except for the Flubbity Dubbity Duffer 1-page flyer, the base price for catalogs is either $5 or $10 (for those with foldouts and extremely high-quality images). There is also a premium based on rarity - as we begin to run out, the price will rise by $1, $3 or $5. So, get them while they are available because a number of them are in extremely short supply. (looking at the inventory list below, <10 means less than 10 catalogs left, LG means 8 1/2" x 11" size catalog, SM means 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" size)

Shipping Costs will depend on size of order and destination. You can combine catalogs with other Gladstone or Another Rainbow products to make up a $20 minimum order.
