Walt Disney’s Uncle Scrooge #310 (June 1998)

In the second prestige format issue of Uncle Scrooge, Don Rosa's "Sign of the Triple Distelfink" tells how Gladstone got bad luck on his birthday by being stuck by lightning. Can getting struck twice undo the bad luck!? In "The Spider Yarn" (story by Paul Halas and Brian Claxton, art by Marsal Abella Bresco), Scrooge sees dollar signs when he learns of the incredible strength of the filament spun by Beguni spider! Then, in "A Sticky Story" (story by Per Erik Hedman and Gary Gabner, art by Francisco Rodriguez Peinado), Scrooge hires Gyro to invent a way to make jam out of a pinch of powder and a drop of water and hires Donald to run the jam factory. (Oh...oh!) Also included is Carl Barks' "Back to Long Ago" in which Scrooge and Donald learn, under hypnosis, that they were sailors 400 years ago who buried some kind of treasure on a Caribbean island. Now, it's a race to see who can dig up the treasure first! (SOLD OUT - valued at over $50 due to extreme scarcity) Check for special notices on the Gladstone Home Page in case any becomes available.
